Outreach

The Metcalfe County Public Library is dedicated to serve all residents of the community, including individuals outside the walls of the library. Our Outreach Services include deliveries of materials to patrons who cannot come to the Library in person as well as programs presented outside the Library. 

The Metcalfe County Public Library's mobile branch, or "outreach vehicle", provides library services to institutions such as schools, nursing homes, senior centers, as well as home stops throughout Metcalfe County.

Home Delivery Service

This service provides personal library service to Metcalfe County residents of any age who have difficulty visiting the library due to physical limitations, as well as geographically remote residents. In addition, Nursing Homes & Elderly Housing Complexes may request drop-off service.

Educational Delivery Service

This service delivers books directly to classrooms, after-school programs, daycare facilities, and senior centers on a bi-weekly or monthly basis. An Outreach with Learning program can be provided when books are delivered to your classroom or facility, upon request.
